I’m building a UK-based adventure / van-life YouTube series called Freedom In Motion, and I’m looking for a long-term video editor + virtual assistant who can help me build the channel from the ground up. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys creative projects, loves storytelling, and wants to grow with a channel that will produce weekly content. Your tasks will include: Editing YouTube videos (8–15 minutes, vlog/adventure style) Editing short-form clips (TikTok, Reels, Shorts) Organising footage + managing Google Drive Basic VA tasks (uploading, posting, captions, hashtags) Helping structure episodes (pacing, flow, suggestions) Managing simple admin tasks Communicating clearly + consistently Style I’m looking for: Adventure / van-life Cinematic but realistic Clean pacing, atmospheric moments, drone shots A mix of calm storytelling + dynamic cuts What I will provide: All footage (A-roll, B-roll, drone) Music, branding, references Story outline + guidance Clear feedback Long-term stability Hours + Pay Starting at 10 hours/week More hours available as the project grows Weekly content (1 long video + several shorts) Paid test edit first Looking for someone who: Has experience editing travel/vlog content Understands YouTube pacing Is reliable, communicative, and organised Can grow with the channel Enjoys creative storytelling If this sounds like you, I’d love to chat.
