Young People Support Worker We are seeking a committed and proactive Support Worker to help young people build independence and move positively into their futures. Position Young People Support WorkerSalary £24,136 per year plus benefitsLocation Chester or Winsford, working onsite and in the communityHours Full time, 37.5 hours per week on a flexible rota including evenings, weekends and sleep ins (additional payments apply)Contract PermanentClosing date 19 December 2025 About the Role You will work as part of a supportive team delivering assessment, guidance and move on support to young people aged 16 to 18 who are leaving care. The aim is to help every young person develop resilience, confidence and the skills needed to manage a safe and successful transition into independent living. Key responsibilities include: Carrying a caseload and acting as the named key worker for each young personCompleting detailed risk assessments and support plans using an asset based approachSupporting young people with daily living skills, budgeting, tenancy sustainment and wellbeingProviding one to one and group sessions within accommodation settings and the communityWorking in partnership with local statutory teams and external agenciesAdvocating for young people and encouraging their involvement in decisions affecting themHelping young people access education, training, employment or volunteeringParticipating in a 24 hour rota which includes some lone working and sleep insEnsuring accommodation is safe, welcoming and maintained to a good standardKeeping accurate records and contributing to regular team meetings and supervisionSupporting the induction of new residents and helping them settle into their accommodationEncouraging engagement in ac
