We are looking for a Yard Operative/Van driver/Trainee HGV Driver to join us at Huws Gray Colchester If you’re in the trade or have ever tackled a home improvement project, you’ve probably heard of us. We rely on our Yard/Warehouse Operatives/Relief HGV Drivers to provide excellent service to our customers, through knowledge of our stock and making sure products are ready for deliveries and collections. Here’s a quick overview of some of the things you can expect to do as a Yard Operative/Van driver/Trainee HGV Driver with Huws Gray: Serving our customers out in the yard & warehouse, providing a good knowledge of the best products for their projectsSupporting with incoming deliveries, making sure stock in the yard is put away correctly and kept tidy in line with Health & Safety guidelinesWorking as a team to help our drivers by loading and unloading vehiclesMaking deliveries in branch vehicles on an adhoc basis (covering sick & holidays)Safeguarding against loss and theft of stock by being security conscious We know that you are more than just a CV and embracing everyone’s individuality is what makes us great as a team.
