• We are looking for an enthusiastic After School Club Manager to lead The Willow Club at St Nicholas Church of England Primary School.
• About the Role
• As the After School Club Manager, you will be the heartbeat of The Willow Club, leading our fantastic team to provide a safe, welcoming, and fun environment for pupils after the school day ends. This is a brilliant opportunity to help shape the club’s daily routines and activities, ensuring every child enjoys a creative and caring experience.
• Key Responsibilities
• Organise, manage, and support the wraparound care team to deliver high-quality after-school provision.
• Plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities – from quiet crafts to adventurous fun with visiting specialists.
• Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children at all times.
• Build warm, professional relationships with children, families, and staff.
• Maintain accurate administrative records, including registers, reports, and incident logs.
• Promote a positive, inclusive atmosphere where every child feels valued and supported.

• A confident leader with experience working with children in a childcare, play work, or school setting.
• A calm and positive individual with strong organisational skills.
• A caring, creative approach to supporting children’s development and wellbeing.
• A firm commitment to safeguarding, health & safety, and child protection.
• A team player who communicates clearly and professionally with parents and colleagues.
• Essential Requirements
• Knowledge and experience of safeguarding and first aid (training can be provided).
• Understanding of child development and the needs of primary-age pupils.
• A desire to contribute to a joyful, safe space for children at the end of their day.
