We're looking for a Works Manager to join our Natural Resources team, working on East Hyde STW, Bedfordshire for Thames Water. In this role you will support various projects on the Thames Water WAAP Programme and help deliver the requirements of the individual project to both above and below ground assets. In this role you'll have a critical role within our construction site team and be responsible for managing and coordinating all site activities. This includes overseeing subcontractors, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations and working materials, and driving the project to be completed successfully within agreed timelines and budgets. The ideal candidate will be a highly organised and proactive individual with strong leadership skills and a proven track record in construction site management. Your day to day will include: Site Supervision: Oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring work meets the required quality standards, specifications, and drawings.Subcontractor Management: Manage and coordinate subcontractors, monitoring their performance and ensuring they meet deadlines and quality expectations. Address any performance issues promptly and professionally.Planning & Scheduling: Contribute to developing the project schedule and monitor progress against it.
