You will manage a varied caseload including estate planning, drafting wills and trusts, probate applications and estate administration, while providing an approachable and supportive service to clients.This is an excellent opportunity to join a friendly, community-focused firm where your professionalism, empathy and attention to detail will make a real difference.Key ResponsibilitiesManaging your own caseload of private client matters from instruction to completionDrafting and reviewing wills and trusts in line with current legislationAdvising clients on estate planning, inheritance tax and asset protectionHandling probate applications and liaising with the Probate RegistryAdministering estates, including asset distribution and settlement of liabilitiesWorking closely with clients, executors and beneficiariesCollaborating with financial advisers and other professionals where appropriateSupporting networking and business development activitiesRequirementsMinimum 3 years’ post-qualification experience in wills, trusts and probateQualified Solicitor or CILEx Lawyer with a current practising certificateAbility to work independently with secretarial supportStrong organisational and file management skillsExcellent client care and communication skillsAbility to handle sensitive matters with empathy and professionalismInterest in networking and developing client relationshipsAbout UsWe are a small, locally run law firm based on the South Coast with offices in Gosport and Lee-on-the-Solent.
