About
🧠 “Build Credibility That Lasts — Become a Wikipedia Editor at Pearl Lemon Group” Tired of ghostwriting for brands that never see the light of day? At Pearl Lemon, your writing won’t vanish into the digital void — it’ll help companies earn one of the rarest forms of online authority: a verified presence on Wikipedia. If you’ve ever stared at a deletion notice and thought, “They just didn’t understand notability,” this is your kind of challenge. We’re searching for experienced Wikipedia editors and contributors — people who know the ins, outs, and eccentricities of the platform, from sourcing standards to COI tags — to help us build legitimate, lasting articles for our global clients. This is a 1–3-month full-time contract, with potential for future collaboration if you thrive in our fast-paced, transparent, remote-first environment. 🚀 About Pearl Lemon Group Pearl Lemon Limited (Company No. 10411490) is a UK-registered, London-based multi-brand growth agency founded in 2016 by Deepak Shukla — a 3× TEDx speaker, former Deloitte consultant, and Entrepreneur.com contributor. Our 130+-person team spans 30+ nationalities across hubs in London, Islamabad, Delhi, and Durban, united by one mission: to help businesses grow ethically, creatively, and globally. We generate 1,000+ inbound leads every month, and we’re known for testing and scaling ideas faster than traditional agencies — from SEO and PR to cafés, gaming, and accounting ventures. That ecosystem includes: Pearl Lemon SEO, Leads, Sales, Legal, and Accountants Pearl Lemon Café (London SW6) How Matcha (Marylebone) Pearl Lemon Games (Roblox studio) Pearl Lemon Academy & MBA (our internal career accelerator) Every brand we launch shares one DNA: speed, experimentation, and radical transparency. ✍️ The Role: Wikipedia Editor / Contributor Your mission? To research, write, and publish new Wikipedia articles for our clients — brands, founders, and organizations that meet notability criteria but need expert guidance to present their story the right way. We’re not looking for “content writers.” We’re looking for Wikipedians — people who understand how to build consensus-friendly, fact-checked, citation-driven pages that can stand the test of scrutiny. You’ll collaborate with our PR and SEO teams, who’ll handle media coverage, backlinks, and reputation management — ensuring every citation meets verifiability standards. 💡 What You’ll Be Doing Audit notability: Evaluate whether subjects meet Wikipedia’s inclusion guidelines before drafting. Draft and publish: Create compliant, neutral articles in your sandbox, then move to mainspace when approved. Source like a journalist: Locate secondary coverage from reliable outlets to satisfy verifiability. Collaborate with PR: Work alongside our communications team to time coverage and citations. Monitor & maintain: Track edits, respond to talk-page feedback, and defend legitimate pages from deletion. Train and document: Help us build internal Wikipedia guidelines for future editors. You’ll operate independently, but with structured support — our PR division provides coverage assets, and our project management team ensures clear timelines and deliverables. 🎯 What We’re Looking For Proven Wikipedia edit history (show us your username or article contributions). Deep familiarity with Wikipedia’s Manual of Style, COI, and AfC processes. Ability to write in neutral, encyclopedic tone with properly formatted citations. Strong grasp of SEO and reputation management principles. Experience with fact-checking, referencing, and copyediting. Comfort working in a remote, fast-moving, fully transparent team. Optional but valuable: prior collaboration with PR agencies or brand storytelling. 🎓 What You’ll Gain A career-defining portfolio — building verifiable Wikipedia presences for high-visibility clients. Direct collaboration with PR and digital strategy teams, learning cross-channel brand growth. An inside look at Pearl Lemon’s ecosystem — from SEO to media to consumer ventures. Training and mentorship through our Pearl Lemon MBA system. The satisfaction of seeing your work live, cited, and respected worldwide. 🕒 Project Details Type: Full-time contract (1–3 months) Location: Fully remote Start date: Immediate Collaboration: PR, SEO, and content divisions support your workflow Goal: 10–15 high-quality, verifiable Wikipedia pages successfully published
