We are looking for an individual who has a strong foundation in compassion and support for others, and who can adapt to quickly changing priorities. You must have the ability to navigate complex situations in a calm and professional manner, taking a collaborative and empathetic approach to support students with a diverse range of needs. You will assist with providing effective and timely interventions for students with a range of welfare issues, ensuring students are safe and supported throughout their studies. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to continue their career in Safeguarding and Welfare, with the opportunity to make a real difference to the student experience at University of the Built Environment.Your accountabilities and responsibilities include:Provide high-quality information, advice, and guidance to students on a variety of issues, delivering excellent customer service in all aspects of the roleSupport with ensuring the University is compliant with the expectations of the regulatory bodies, namely Ofsted and the Office for StudentsMake decisions in Safeguarding Cases when required and follow cases through to conclusion, with the support of the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) or Deputy DSLOur main requirements:Experience in a similar role Experience in maintaining sensitive records to the required standards, including knowledge of legislation relating to data protection Ability to manage difficult situations sensitively, with empathy, and in a timely mannerKnowl
