Supporting critical operations across a range of industries including Rail, Marine, Oil and Gas as well as Power Generation.Position Summary:Supporting the business as a Welder - subcontracted out to various companies to undertakespecialist weld assessments, repairs and inspections. The candidate would be required totravel to various work sites across the UK and work away from Home on some ongoing projects.Duties include: Carry out welding repairs, modifications, and fabrication work on a variety ofcomponents, including rail rolling stock. Work with different welding methods, including MIG/MAG, TIG, and Manual Metal Arc(Stick). Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate work. Undertake work in both workshop and site environments, ensuring compliance with allsafety procedures. Contribute to the successful delivery of projects across the East Midlands, withflexibility for occasional travel nationwide.The Candidate: Proven experience in welding within heavy engineering, rail, or manufacturingenvironments.
