We’re hiring a talented Web Developer to help us build and maintain high-performing client websites for local service and eCommerce businesses. You’ll work closely with our SEO and Content teams to ensure every site is fast, mobile-optimized, and structured for conversions. You’ll start part-time (20h/week) with the opportunity to grow full-time as we scale. ⸻ Responsibilities • Build and maintain websites using Shopify, Wix, and WordPress. • Customize pre-existing templates (colors, fonts, sections, layouts). • Upload and format text, images, and visual assets provided by the content team. • Optimize site speed, meta data, and mobile responsiveness. • Set up hosting, domains, and SSL certificates where needed. • Connect Google Analytics, Search Console, and contact forms. • Perform ongoing maintenance: updates, bug fixes, and performance checks. • Coordinate with SEO Specialist to ensure technical compliance. • Manage 3–5 sites concurrently during the initial phase. ⸻ Tools & Platforms • Shopify • Wix • WordPress (Elementor, Divi, Astra, etc.) • Google Workspace • Cloudflare / Namecheap / GoDaddy • Canva / Figma (optional for visuals) ⸻ Requirements • 2+ years of front-end web development experience. • Strong understanding of site speed optimization and responsive design. • Knowledge of SEO fundamentals (meta tags, alt text, sitemaps). • Able to handle multiple sites and deadlines independently. • Familiar with Shopify theme customization and basic Liquid edits preferred. • Good English communication skills for collaboration with the team.
