I’m building Foundry — a platform where student and first-time founders can meet and form startup teams. The first wedge feature is Cofounder Matching: structured profiles, matching logic, and basic chat. I need a full-stack developer to build a working MVP (not a brochure site) in 3 weeks. This is a fixed-scope contract with clear milestones and deliverables. What You’ll Build (MVP Scope) • User signup/login (email + Google) • Profile creation (skills, availability, stage, short pitch, optional video link) • Preferences (skills/commitment/timezone overlap) • Matching system (structured filters + scoring algorithm) • Connection requests (pending, accept/decline) • 1:1 messaging between accepted matches • Dashboard with matches + profile completeness • Admin basics (disable users, review reports) Tech Stack (preferred) • Frontend: Next.js / React • Backend/Auth/DB: Supabase (auth, database, realtime for chat) • Hosting: Vercel • UI: Tailwind or shadcn/ui Deliverables • A live, deployed MVP (not local-only) • Clean, documented codebase so another dev can extend it • Working auth, profiles, matching, requests, and chat features Timeline & Milestones • Week 1 – Auth + Profiles • Week 2 – Matching + Requests • Week 3 – Messaging + Admin + Deployment Payments will be milestone-based. Budget $1.5k–$3k fixed rate depending on experience and speed. What I’m Looking For • Experience shipping startup MVPs (show live links) • Full-stack ability (not just frontend or backend) • Clear communication (daily async updates, weekly calls) • Product-minded: suggest lean solutions, don’t over-engineer Nice-to-Have • Security basics (auth, row-level access, anti-spam) • Experience working with early-stage founders • Interest in longer-term involvement or equity discussions (optional)
