WAREHOUSE SECURITY OFFICER – DAYS OR NIGHTS CONSIDERED WORKING DAYS BETWEEN MONDAY - FRIDAY: 6AM - 6PM (SHIFT ROTA WITHIN THESE HOURS)£26,700 - £28,000 PER ANNUM People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Security Officer to join our well-established client based in Manchester on a full-time permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity offering an excellent annual salary, great benefits, and genuine room to grow and progress. The role will involve maintaining site security, issuing passes, reporting visitors, and ensuring a safe working environment for approximately 150 employees. You will also provide first aid assistance, handle accident reporting, and cover reception duties outside normal office hours. Benefits• 22 days holiday + bank holidays• 5% contribution pension• Critical Illness Scheme• Permanent position Day-to-Day Duties• Ensure the site is safe and secure at all times• Lock all pedestrian gates, service yard gates, and barriers as required nightly• Maintain a physical presence at the entrance barrier during staff arrivals• Patrol factory, offices, and outbuildings, ensuring all doors, shutters, and gates are locked (six physical patrols per day)• Conduct CCTV patrols hourly using individual security login• Operate intruder alarm, fire alarm, and access control systems• Keep accurate records on the Security PC including diary, handover, keys, licence checks, deliveries, collections, pool car, energy reports, accident and incident logs, and diesel usage• Issue parking passes and monitor car park access• Report any suspicious activity to management or line manager• Check in visitors and contractors, ensuring they are reported to their hosts• Manage contractor
