Job Details Rate of pay: £12.54 per hour Weekly hours: 39 Shift pattern: Monday to Friday (7 - 15) Contract type: 6 month fixed-term Location: Alliance Healthcare, Hinckley, LE10 This role is in support of Cencora's wholesale distribution services in Europe operating through our Alliance Healthcare business. Job Purpose: To be multifunctional within the warehouse/despatch environment. Key Accountabilities: To be available to work within shifts on a rotational basis as required. Working within the transport department sorting work into route order with the use of pump trucks To achieve agreed productivity levels in all tasks. To be familiar with the branch operation and fully understand each function and the importance of its purpose. To maintain a high standard of housekeeping throughout all areas. To meet all health and safety requirements To carry out any reasonable requests as determined by Branch Management. Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required: Essential Good communication skills – both written and verbal High visual accuracy Basic Numeracy and Literacy Desirable Knowledge of typical warehouse layout and control Health and Safety requirements within a warehouse environment . Manual Handling It should be noted that manual handling tasks such as lifting and bending are “essential requirements” of this role.
