Maintenance Engineer – Stratford-upon-AvonMonday to Friday | 37.5 hours per week | £17.50 per hourWe are recruiting on behalf of one of our established clients in Stratford-upon-Avon for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer to ensure the safe operation, maintenance and efficiency of plant machinery and site services.The Role: You will be responsible for maintaining and maximising the performance of plant equipment and site systems, ensuring minimal downtime and supporting overall production efficiency.Key Responsibilities: Maintenance of site services including electrical and pneumatic systems, signage, heating systems (wood pellet), and drainageDiagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs to plant machinery and servicesPerforming preventative maintenanceOperating machine tools such as lathes, millers, drills and grindersInterpreting technical manuals and engineering drawingsAssisting with ordering spare parts and maintaining stock levelsUsing precision measuring equipment (micrometers, Verniers, etc.)Managing daily oil refresh processes in line with recycling proceduresFollowing all company health & safety policies Requirements: City & Guilds qualification preferredApprenticeship trained preferredApproximately 5 years’ relevant engineering experienceStrong diagnostic and problem-solving skillsExperience with machine tools and precision measuring equipmentForklift experience advanta
