A role has arisen for a Warehouse Operative for this leading provider of hospitality, exhibition, and event management services based near Stratford upon Avon.The company are very well established with family friendly values, and provide clients with a complete turn-key service.Opportunities for progression for the right candidate.The successful Warehouse Operative must have:- A positive and enthusiastic can-do attitude. Work well in a team, providing support where needed with a “hands-on” approach. Self-motivated to achieve a high standard while often working autonomously. Counter-balance Forklift license preferable (full training can be provided). Be physically fit and able to handle working with large and heavy structures.Responsibilities of the Warehouse Operative:- • Responsible for the cleanliness and organisational systems of the yard and workshop.• Reporting directly to Warehouse Manager. • Liaise with services during scheduled and unscheduled servicing and maintenance.• Basic maintenance of facilities and reporting of issues where outsourced providers are needed.• Monitoring of fuel, heating fuel, electricity meters.• Providing support across the Operations Department as needed.• Fire Warden duties.• Groundskeeping duties across the site.• Ensure that company H&S policies are adhered to.• Forklift driving, including yard movements of stock and lorry loading/unloading.• Additional responsibilities in keeping with the role as required and as the role progresses.• Requirement to conform with and adhere to the Quality Management System to ISO 9001:2015 Due to the rural location of the site, the successful Warehouse Operative will need to have their own means of transport and be fully eligible to work in the UK.
