Introduction
The Customer Experience and Service Delivery team ensures a welcoming, safe, and efficient environment for MPs, their staff, and all visitors to the House of Commons.

Important Information
There are five roles available for this position – 3x full time positions and 2x guaranteed minimum hour positions:
Full Time: 36.5 net hours worked per week / 5 out of 6 days, Monday through Saturday / as rostered at times between 7:00 AM and 11:00 PM.
Guaranteed Minimum Hours: 20 net hours worked per week – opportunities for additional hours / 5 out of 6 days, Monday through Saturday / as rostered at times between 7:00 AM and 11:00 PM.

The Role
You’ll work as part of a dynamic and supportive team, providing excellent service across a range of functions, including canapés receptions, formal dinners, and drink services.
This is an exciting opportunity for a customer-focused individual to develop their skills in a prestigious and fast-paced environment, delivering world-class hospitality to guests from diverse backgrounds.
Some of the responsibilities for this role include:
- Greet and interact with guests professionally
- Serve food and drinks at events
- Assist in setting up and breaking down event spaces
- Work effectively with colleagues to ensure smooth operations
- Support organisational sustainability goals by minimising waste during service and promoting eco-friendly practices
- Proactively identify opportunities to upsell products and services
Skills and Experience
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate:
- Customer Service Orientation – Experience providing exceptional hospitality service in a fine dining or high-profile environment, with a strong focus on exceeding guest expectations.
- Teamwork and Collaboration – Ability to work collaboratively in a busy service environment, maintaining flexibility and a proactive approach to support the team.
- Communication Skills – Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with a diverse range of people and adapt communication style to suit the environment and audience needs.
