Benefit Eligible Yes Screening Date 2025-07-25 Job Description Summary Visiting Assistant Professor/Instructor to teach intercultural communication courses starting August 2025. Job Description The Department of Media, Journalism & Film prepares students to live and work in a complex media environment, offering majors in Film Studies, Journalism, Media & Communication, and Strategic Communication. The primary responsibility for the hire will be teaching four sections of intercultural communication, a requirement of our Strategic Communication major. It also is part of the Miami Plan curriculum, serving approximately one hundred students a semester. Minimum Requirements: Required: Ph.D. in a communication or media related field by date of appointment for appointment as Visiting Assistant professor; Master's or ABD in a communication or media related field by date of appointment for appointment as Instructor.
