We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Virtualization Engineer. We are seeking a Virtualization Engineer to support our on-premises VMware estate. This role is based in our Sheffield offices, with at least 60% on-site working and requires alignment to UK hours, out of hours working will also be required, with time off in lieu. You will initially join the infrastructure support team focused on large-scale ESXi/vCenter clusters across one of the biggest vSphere deployments in the world. After an eight-week production support ramp-up, you'll transition into the specific support team, reporting to the Virtualization Team Lead. The role will focus on the Load Balancer ESXi platform. The VMs are supported in collaboration with other teams. The role requires the review and approval of third-party virtual appliances, along with the creation of supporting documentation. The support team tasks include updating existing and creating new support documentation.
