I am hiring a talented video editor who specializes in short form social-first content. You’ll take raw footage (talking head speaking clips, b-roll and other types of footage) and edit them into engaging short videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Tiktok and potentially long-form YouTube. Responsibilities: • Edit raw footage into polished short-form videos. • Add captions, hooks, motion graphics, and animations to maximize engagement. • Repurpose long-form content into multiple social-first clips. • Stay on top of editing styles and trends on TikTok, Reels, and YouTube. Requirements: • Strong portfolio of social media edits (please provide a minimum of 15-20 examples of your best performing work). • Ability to work fast while maintaining quality. • Experience with captioning, jump cuts, motion graphics, and sound design. • Familiarity with storytelling pacing for short attention spans.
