I run a YouTube channel focused on long-form documentaries about 20th century gangsters. My videos are well-researched, slow-paced, and structured like historical deep dives. I'm looking for someone who can replicate my style which is Ken Burns meets True Crime. Someone who can work without prompts and follow my voiceover to select the best historical footage & clips from TV shows & movies (I have a huge archive) I'm looking for a full edit delivered every 3 weeks with a full 3 weeks to edit about 60 minutes of footage. I'll provide a full editing pack with the full voiceover, tv shows & movies to use, archival footage, on-camera talking head footage of myself to add in and also maps made using GeoLayers so even though the video is about 1.5 hours, so you don't need to edit the full 90 minutes - it's more 60 minutes of editing with 30 minutes of maps & on-camera footage. Bonus if you use Adobe Premiere Pro because I have quite a few plug ins (epidemic sound ect) I can give you my log ins to to help you select sound effects & music. The editing complexity is not high but an attention to detail is for this era therefore I believe $300 per 60 minutes (every 3 weeks) is a fair price. We can look at increasing this as the channel grows. Ideally you'll have experience in long-form content editing (documentaries, history videos, crime stories, etc.). You'll understand pacing & storytelling & comfortable working with archival footage, photos, and simple animations This will be steady work with one video every 3 weeks, the stories are fascinating and you'll have full creative freedom. I want you to mimic my style but bring your own editing style as well whilst staying true to what the channel is about. The channel currently brings in around 500,000 long-form views each month and is growing at a very quick rate. Thanks a lot and looking forward to receiving your application!
