Vice President - Direct Lending Location: LondonTeam: Direct Lending Overview:We are seeking an experienced Vice President to join a leading private credit platform's underwriting team. This role is integral to the execution of middle-market direct lending transactions, with a focus on credit analysis, structuring, and risk assessment. The successful candidate will play a key role in evaluating investment opportunities and ensuring disciplined underwriting standards. Key Responsibilities: Lead underwriting for new direct lending transactions, including detailed credit analysis, financial modelling, and risk assessment.Structure and negotiate deal terms in collaboration with origination and portfolio management teams.Prepare and present comprehensive investment memoranda to the Investment Committee.Conduct due diligence across financial, operational, and legal aspects of prospective borrowers.Monitor market trends and maintain a strong understanding of industry dynamics to inform underwriting decisions.Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
