An exciting opportunity has arisen for a surgically confident Veterinary Surgeon to join a fantastic and supportive team in the historical county town of Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire.

The successful candidate will be accountable for patient care within the clinic, delivering exceptional service to clients, patients, and colleagues while upholding the highest regulatory and operational standards. This role is ideally suited to a veterinary surgeon with a strong surgical background who enjoys a varied caseload and is keen to further develop their skills within a modern and forward-thinking practice.

The practice is home to three experienced vets and four dedicated RVNs, working together in a collaborative and friendly environment where support is always on hand. While the position does not include formal leadership responsibilities, the successful applicant will be expected to take the lead surgically when required.

• Three operating theatres
• Dedicated dental suite
• Digital x-ray, ultrasound, and endoscopy
• In-house laboratory
• Separate cat and dog wards and surgical suites
• On-site boarding kennels, cattery, and grooming parlour

Role details:

• Full-time position, 40 hours across 4 days
• 1:4 full weekend rota

Skills and experience required:

• RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon
• Strong surgical confidence and ability to take the lead in theatre

• Strong teamwork, coaching, and influencing skills
