About

Our ideal candidate would be ready for a Head Receptionist position, or be considering a leadership role in future.

We are looking for a candidate who will maintain client care by ensuring protocols are followed and training is up to date. Improving client care by training new team members, mentoring and bringing fresh ideas. This role could also include collaborating with the clinical team on insurance claims, health & safety compliance, RCVS Practice Standards prep and maintaining our Feline Friendly and Rabbit Friendly practice standards.

We can support leadership and veterinary receptionist career development. This could include the BVRA Certificate, VMG qualifications and/or Vets4Pets leadership courses. Our Head Nurse Becky is near to completing her VMG Diploma in Veterinary Leadership & Management and would love someone to share this with!

Our ideal candidate will also:

  • Have previous experience as a veterinary receptionist or, have experience of and enjoy providing excellent client care.
  • Be a team player; our team work closely together.
  • Be interested in professional progression, including studying towards a Certificate for Veterinary Receptionists.
  • Flexibility to cover evening shifts on occasion.
  • An affinity with pets and their owners.

The role consists of:

  • 35-40 hours per week.
  • Weekday hours between 8am and 8pm on a rota basis.
  • Opportunity for a 4 day week
  • Weekends on rotation. Currently, 1 in 3 full weekends.

Salary: Up to£28,500 starting salary
