Vehicle Maintenance TechnicianWe are working with an industry leading client on the lookout for an experienced Vehicle Maintenance Technician (HGV Technician) to join one of their sites in Stoney Stanton. This is a pivotal role that will be part of a great team, helping the business operate and deliver across the whole of the UK.Shift Pattern:Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 6am – 3pmBack Shift: Monday to Friday, 3pm – 12am (Midnight)Overtime - Saturday Mornings: 6am – 12 noonOn-Call rota: 1 in 4 weeks (Additional payment for on call)This role will provide:Structured training, including in-house programmes such as LPG Basics, Wheel Security, Basic Electrics, and more.Specialist outsourced training such as IRTEC Inspection, ADR (Class 2 – Gases), Safe Loading Pass, and the opportunity to gain your Category (Class 1 & 2 ) C + E licenceOngoing opportunities to upskill in tank testing, confined space, product-specific training, and moreMaintaining quality tools is important for safety and performance. If a tool is no longer performing as expected, worn or damaged tools can be replaced at the discretion of your manager, helping you stay efficient and safe on the jobAs such we would like you to have/be:Essential: Qualifications in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair – or a strong, proven background in the industry, whether time-served, with relevant qualifications, or with equivalent practical experienceKnowledge of vehicle systems, trailers, plant, and workshop equipmentStrong diagnostic skills with a safety-first mindsetTeam player with good communication and organisation skillsDesirable (but not essential, as we will help you obtain these): HGV C licence and ADRBenefits:
