About the Role | Mō te tūranga We’re looking for a skilled Vehicle Inspector to carry out non-regulatory vehicle inspections for our Members and customers. In this role, you’ll provide clear, accurate reports, explain your findings, and deliver outstanding customer service every step of the way. You’ll also play a key role in promoting AA services that help customers get the most from their vehicles. What You’ll Be Doing | Ngā mahi Inspect passenger and light commercial vehicles to AA standards. Provide clear, factual inspection reports and explain results to customers. Deliver exceptional service to Members, business clients, and the motoring public. Promote relevant AA products and services. Maintain high professional standards in appearance, behaviour, and customer interactions. Support continuous improvement by sharing ideas and embracing new systems and processes. About You | Mōu To succeed, you’ll bring: A Level 4 Automotive Trade Qualification (or equivalent) – verification required. 3+ years’ recent experience in the automotive industry. Strong vehicle fault diagnosis and inspection skills across all passenger/light commercial vehicles. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Basic computer and tablet knowledge. A clean full New Zealand driver’s licence.
