I am engaged with an early stage pre-product marketers fit GovTech startup and it hasn't gone well. There was some unhappy sentiment about the initial landing page, however, they dont yet know if they are building an AI claims tool or an agentic solution and other than a mock up of a potential dashboard based on my experience theres little by the way of product substance. My sense of what's really going on is that we've been unable to generate enough conversations to help understand market need, however under contract they are responsible for the quality of the data provided, so theres a bit more to unpack but the gist i believe is they want to protect their burn rate because the research phase has been slower than anticipated and we are continuing to meet our contractual obligations, but theres a 60 day notice to terminate and a 30 day notice to rectify clause of which none have been formally activated. Its a lot of "blame" but no real evidence and we can actually prove in writing he chose to disregard our advice on best practice for this page and do his own thing. So, desired outcome is that we establish the baseline with you, offer a way forward as hes aking for free work.or a refund and to either reset or exit on the 60 day terms either paid in full or deliver the work as requested
