We’re building Thanex, an upcoming digital platform that automates Quality Assurance in UK construction, starting with commercial buildings (RC frame, MEP, cladding, fit-out, etc.). Our aim is to make site QA simple, traceable, and compliant with insurer and warranty standards (NHBC, LABC, BS, EN). To design it right, we need real on-site insights, how trades and engineers currently record inspections, test results, and quality evidence. Your Role We’re looking for a UK-based field researcher or someone deeply connected to the UK construction industry who can: Conduct short interviews (10–15 minutes) with site engineers, electricians, supervisors, and QA managers. Use our official guide (Thanex – UK Commercial QA Field Research Plan) to gather structured insights. Document each conversation in a spreadsheet (template provided). Summarise the main findings per trade: workflows, QA challenges, and opportunities for digital tools. Ideal Candidate ✅ Based in the UK or with verifiable access to UK site professionals. ✅ Experienced in construction, engineering, or building services (understands site culture). ✅ Confident speaking with trades and professionals via LinkedIn, phone, or WhatsApp. ✅ Strong note-taking and summarising skills. ✅ Independent, professional, and clear communicator.
