• Job Description
• 12 months fixed term contract to cover maternity.
• As a Transport Support Operator you will be responsible for providing administrative support and accurate data, with the ability to work to deadlines in order to contribute to the overall success of the site.
• Working hours: 4 on 4 off nights, 19.00-07.00
• Salary: £29,484 per annum

Key Duties of a Transport Support Operator

• Correctly debrief drivers.
• Checking all timesheets for correct completion and ensuring all PODs are returned completed correctly.
• Scanning and storing PODs using Culina’s document management system.
• Preparing drivers’ wallets and issuing delivery notes in drop sequence plus any other relevant delivery information.
• Answering the telephone and assisting with any enquiries.
• Downloading drivers’ cards / tachographs.
• Ensuring all estimated time of arrivals (ETAs) are communicated to Customer Services.
• Consistently updating all spreadsheets including, but not limited to; change-overs, run summaries and trailer check sheets.
• Departing & Completing of loads using Transport Management System (TMS).
• Ensuring all uplifts are despatched in correct loads.
• Qualifications
• Previous experience in Administration.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
• Effectively prioritise work load in order to meet set deadlines.
• Good standard of computer literacy, particularly MS Office e.g. PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
• Able to work as part of a team or individually.
