Transport Planner – UK Operations We’re looking for a skilled Transport Planner to join a busy and fast-paced transport office, coordinating the daily delivery and collection of full loads, groupage, and container movements across the UK. Key Responsibilities: Plan and route deliveries and collections for full loads, groupage, and container trafficEnsure compliance with road transport legislation and the Working Time Directive (WTD)Communicate effectively with drivers and customers to maintain high service standardsComplete administrative tasks accurately and on timeManage driver hours, trailer rotation, and fleet utilisationOversee container movements, including VBS bookings and port collectionsUse a Transport Management System (TMS) and associated tools to manage operationsSupport the wider operations team to drive efficiency and service excellence About You – Skills & Experience: Previous experience in transport planning or a back-office transport roleStrong geographical knowledge of the UKExperience planning container or groupage loadsFamiliarity with VBS booking systems and Container Exec (preferred)Excellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to work under pressure in a fast-paced environmentGood IT skills, including TMS softwareTeam-oriented with a proactive, problem-solving mindset Desirable: CPC qualification (advantageous but not essential) Working Hours & Additional Info: Rotational shifts between 06:00 and 18:00Weekend work: 1 in 4 Saturday/Sunday mornings (additional payment provided)Supportive team environment with opportunities for progression For more information please apply now or call the
