What you’ll be doing

  • Monitor, track, and report the flow of data from instructors and students through the training tool, including management of the full issue log within the Training Systems Support Centre
  • Identify and recommend improvements to the training system via the programme problem reporting process
  • Compile, analyse, and disseminate feedback data to support continuous improvement and informed decision-making
  • Prepare clear, actionable reports for MoD and BAE Systems senior management on quality assurance indicators highlighted in the End of Course Review Pack
  • Assess the effectiveness of training material modifications in addressing issues identified through problem reports and proposed solutions

Your skills and experiences

Essential

  • Qualification in an engineering discipline, preferably Level 3 as a minimum or equivalent experience
  • Experience in data analytics and trend analysis
  • Experience in a relevant training assurance, design, or delivery discipline
  • Practical experience with the Systems Approach to Training (SAT)

Desirable

  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of applications
  • Proven knowledge and experience of training assurance processes

  • The Training Systems Support Team
  • Join the Training Systems Support Team and play a key role in shaping the future of pilot training for cutting-edge platforms such as the F-35 and Lightning aircraft. In this role, you will evaluate training content against user feedback, ensuring that learning materials meet the highest standards. You will liaise with international partners, including the USA, to review and validate changes, ensuring improvements are effective and aligned with operational requirements.
  • You will identify trends in common issues, provide insightful analysis, and present recommendations to the leadership team, hosting meetings to justify changes and drive continuous improvement. Working closely with a team of media developers, quality assurance specialists, courseware developers, and configuration engineers, you will contribute to the full spectrum of training delivery.
