We are seeking enthusiastic and committed individuals to join us as a SEN Teacher Trainee or SEN Teaching Assistant and develop into exceptional SEN educators.

The Role:

• Provide teaching and support to the pupils, following individualised curriculum's plan
• Prepare and deliver lessons and activities, focusing largely on communication skills and life skills
• Support pupil's participation in trips, applying theory based learning to practice
• Provide behaviourally based support to replace and reduce behaviours that impact quality of life
• Provide personal care, encouraging pupils to maintain acceptable levels of hygiene (toileting and feeding)
• Monitor pupils progress, ensuring teaching is appropriate and effective for each child's needs
• Assist with break time duties including playground support and snack time

We are looking for someone who is:

• Professional, personal or voluntary experience of working with children and disabilities
• Minimum grade C/4 GCSE in English language and Maths or equivalent
• Comfortable working with children who exhibit behaviour that challenges
• Comfortable supporting others with personal/intimate care
• Ability to keep calm in stressful situations
