This role is central to supporting data-driven decision-making, policy development, and strategic planning for the region's tourism economy. Working closely with internal teams, local authorities, and key stakeholders, you will manage research programmes, analyse data, and provide intelligence that drives investment, sustainability, and growth in leisure, business tourism, and major events. Key Requirements Conduct research and analysis on regional, national, and international data to inform tourism strategies and policy. Coordinate and manage data collection from multiple sources to support targeted activity across tourism and events. Maintain robust datasets and provide ongoing market intelligence for internal and external reporting. Collaborate with partners across the public and private sectors to gather insights and share evidence. Provide clear, concise reports and presentations on findings to stakeholders and senior management. Manage budgets, procurement, and external research contracts, ensuring value and quality control.
