The successful candidate will provide a Crime Scene Investigation capability within Lincolnshire and as required within the East Midlands region. Ensuring a comprehensive, efficient and effective service is delivered for local and regional crime scene examinations by maximising the forensic opportunities to aid the investigative and criminal justice processes.

The postholder will provide a Crime Scene Investigation capability within Lincolnshire Police and outlined in the Staff Charter. All staff involved in carrying out functions in this role will do so in accordance with the principles of the Code of Ethics. The aim of the Code of Ethics is to support each member of the policing profession to deliver the highest professional standards in their service to the public.

The force operates an out of hours call out service, applicants for this post need to live within a 1-hour radius of a Lincolnshire CSI base, to accommodate prompt force wide scene attendance.
