Temporary Works Engineer | Chandlers Ford | Pumping & Civil SolutionsWe are working with a well-established engineering group operating at the heart of the UK water industry, delivering pump rental and fluid transfer solutions to major infrastructure clients. They are now looking to appoint a Temporary Works Engineer to design and manage temporary structures across a diverse range of pumping projects.This is a hands-on role suited to someone with experience designing temporary works in a live site environment. You’ll be based in the office, designing solutions that enable safe access and installation – such as scaffolding, pipe supports, access platforms and road closures – before taking them to site for implementation and customer sign-off.Key Duties & Responsibilities:Plan and design temporary works to support project delivery and ensure safe access for installation teamsCreate detailed technical drawings using 2D and 3D CAD softwareAssess risk and compliance across all designs, ensuring health and safety standards are metOrganise site logistics and coordinate temporary works resources (scaffolding, plant, access structures etc.)Liaise with customers and project teams to present temporary works solutions for sign-offCollaborate closely with SHEQ, BIM, and Project Delivery teams to align temporary works with wider project requirementsMaintain clear documentation for all temporary works and contribute to audits, quality reviews, and safety checksFoster a positive culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement across the project lifecycleSkills & Experience Required:Background in civil, structural, or temporary works engineeringExperience designing temporary works in a construction or infrastructure environmentFamiliar with AutoCAD (2D & 3D) and othe
