Our client is seeking a HR Advisor for a 6-month temporary assignment to support with a project. This role will be to guide operational managers in managing their teams effectively to deliver an excellent colleague experience and meet operational goals. This role involves acting as the primary point of contact for HR-related matters within the designated area and providing commercially sound advice in line with current legislation. Day-to-day of the role: Serve as the main HR contact for operational managers, providing advice on HR policies and people matters.Support HR activities including Salary Reviews, Training, Recruitment, and Performance Reviews in conjunction with HRSS/L&D/TA.Ensure departmental training plans are in place for both functional and mandatory training.Equip line managers to handle investigations, including grievance and disciplinary processes.Assist managers with complex Employee Relations (ER) issues, maintaining the ER tracker.Work as part of the HR team to deliver the People strategy and continuous improvement, including updating job descriptions and expediting recruitment processes.Provide advice, coaching, and support on change processes and use HR information systems to manage data and report on absences.Identify development needs in conjunction with HRBP and L&D and assist in organising colleague engagement activities.Conduct weekly updates with operational managers to monitor people issues and maintain HR processes. Required Skills & Qualifications: Demonstrable experience in supporting managers to build team capabilities within commercial organisations.Strong knowledge of HR best practices and experience in providing advice, coaching, and support.Ability to increase diversity and develop a culture of belonging.Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust
