Robertson Bell are delighted to be supporting a well-established organisation based in Northampton as they recruit for a Temporary Administrator to join their friendly and supportive finance team on a three-month contract. This is a great opportunity for someone organised, proactive and confident with numbers to provide vital support during a particularly busy period. Working closely with your team, you’ll help maintain accurate records, process financial data and handle a variety of account-related administrative tasks. Clear processes and daily task lists are in place to guide your work, ensuring consistency and structure throughout the week. Key responsibilities will include: Maintaining and updating account information with accuracy and attention to detail.Processing adjustments, transfers and reconciliations across multiple systems.Managing refunds and ensuring all necessary checks and approvals are completed.Investigating queries and resolving discrepancies promptly.Supporting regular reviews of account activity, including write-offs and adjustments.Responding to enquiries from internal teams in a professional and timely manner.Rotating duties with colleagues to ensure all areas of the function are fully covered. The successful candidate will: Have previous administrative experience, ideally within a finance or data-focused environment.Be confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.Possess strong communication skills and the confidence to liaise with colleagues across departments.Be highly organised, methodical and capable of working to deadlines.Be a quick learner who can adapt to new systems and processes.Be available to start immediately and commit to the full three-month period.
