Job Posting Title Technology and Data Demand Planning Manager (Family Leave Cover) Salary Band £47,221 - £70,832 Grade: MP1 Job Description About the Role As the Technology and Data Demand Manager, you will be responsible for aligning Technology and Data capacity with the delivery of strategic and operational changes across the organisation. Acting as the entry point for all Technology and Data related change, you will ensure that demand is triaged, assessed, and routed appropriately, balancing resource availability with operational resilience. You will ensure that business critical services and compliance obligations are protected whilst supporting the delivery of enterprise change. Working closely with the Enterprise Change and Demand Planning team, key stakeholders and delivery/scrum teams, you will represent the Technology and Data function in prioritisation forums, resolve demand conflicts, and provide visibility of capacity across BAU, change and operations. Ultimately, your role will enable joined up decision making, risk informed prioritisation and sustainable delivery planning. About You The successful candidate will bring proven experience in a technology leadership or strategic planning role, ideally within a change or transformation environment. You will have demonstrable expertise in developing and maturing forecasting and capacity modelling practices through collaborative approaches. A strong understanding of change management, operational management, and compliance controls is essential, along with hands-on experience in demand planning across both Agile and Waterfall methodologies. You should be comfortable maintaining operational stability during periods of significant change. You will possess deep knowledge of planning and resource modelling across matrixed or cross-functional teams, enabling informed decision-making and optimal resource utilisation across varying planning cadences. Experience in regulated environments is also required, with a strong grasp of IT risk, audit, and compliance standards to ensure ongoing adherence during both operational and change initiatives. A broad understanding of systems integration, infrastructure, and development pipelines is vital, supporting effective planning across diverse delivery models. In addition, you will have excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, using data-led insights to improve transparency, manage expectations, and constructively challenge estimations and schedules, balancing long-term demand forecasting with the ability to respond to short-term delivery pressures and emerging priorities.
