This is a senior role, ideal for an experienced underwriter who wants to work in a technically focused position, maintaining high standards across commercial schemes, supporting product governance, and contributing to the ongoing development of underwriting processes.Key Responsibilities • Maintain and update underwriting systems, technical guides, endorsements, and internal referral processes. • Focus on underwriting quality, including conducting QA activities, large case and claims reviews, and exception reporting. • Contribute to product lifecycle management and ongoing product governance, including validation activities for schemes. • Support transformation initiatives by assisting with technical product specifications and collaborating with the wider technical team. • Build and maintain strong working relationships across internal teams. • Ensure technical documentation is compliant with regulatory and binder requirements. • Regularly review and update scheme and product underwriting guides. • Maintain and manage technical underwriting endorsements within delegated authority limits. • Respond to internal referrals from trading and claims teams. • Work with governance and product teams to ensure oversight proc
