Overview

We are hiring for our very first product role at Parable – and are looking for a Technical Product Manager (TPM) to own the onboarding of client data into the Parable platform.

This is a hands-on role at the intersection of product ownership, developer tooling, and client delivery enablement. You will own a critical area of our product – ingesting client data from silo’ed workplace tools into our platform. You will be responsible for building a “Connector Factory” that allows Parable to build new API connectors on demand, set the roadmap for new connectors/taps, and lead the internal and client-facing productization of raw data. This role is critical to Parable’s ability to scale data access, improve client and developer experience, and deliver reliable results downstream to our other teams (including our ontology and AI/ML teams).

You have a successful track record building and managing complex data products in fast-moving environments with constrained resources.

What is Parable

Parable’s mission is to make time matter.

Parable provides CEOs of companies with 1,000+ employees with deep observability of the time spent by their team across all strategies, projects, and processes. Our insights help teams focus on the work that matters the most, and drive data-driven decisions in resource allocation.

The company was founded by seasoned founders, with multiple 9-figure exits under their belts, and reached $2m of ARR within 6 months of going to market. Parable raised $17 million from investors like HOF Capital and Story Ventures, as well as 50+ founders and executives.

On the technical side, we are building an operating system for large enterprises – ingesting silo’ed data from across the workplace stack, structuring this data into our enterprise ontology, and contextualizing it to draw sharp insight on our client companies.

You’ll be responsible for:
  • Productizing the “Connector Factory” – reduce connector build time, improve tap scaffolding, and advance GenAI-assisted development.

  • Enhance developer experience – create and maintain internal + external documentation, categorization of sources, and clear packages for Ontology/Context Mining.

  • Deliver observability tooling – ensure clients and internal teams can easily view connector coverage, status, and data volumes.

  • Support client-facing UX – contribute to external-facing workflows where clients set up API keys and view connector health.

  • Interface with AI/ML teams – ensure raw data supports downstream pipelines and helps prioritize connectors/taps that unlock client-facing insights.

  • Manage scoping and onboarding of client data – as we productize the self-onboarding solution for clients, ensure client data lands in the platform.

This role is for someone who:
  • Is passionate about data infrastructure productization and developer experience – you believe that removing friction from data ingestion directly accelerates client value.

  • Balances technical depth and product leadership – you can review APIs, write requirements, and contribute to technical docs, while also driving stakeholder alignment across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success.

  • Exercises extreme ownership – you’re the single point of contact for Raw Data connectors: what exists, what’s next, and what’s needed.

  • Enjoys crafting documentation – you love writing explainer content for both developers and clients.

  • Sees GenAI as an enabler – you’re excited to use GenAI to scaffold taps from an API spec.

In the first 3 months, you’ll:
  • Own the Connector Library – build a source-of-truth catalog of connectors/taps that exist and are in development.

  • Drive roadmap alignment – prioritize connector/tap development based on sales pipeline, client needs, and Ontology requirements.

  • Partner with Engineering – scope new connectors by reviewing API docs (REST/GraphQL), breaking down development requirements, and contributing to developer tooling needs (e.g., CLI, automation).

  • Improve documentation – contribute to technical setup guides for client-facing API key/token management (in partnership with the App team ).

  • Drive the ingestion of data needed for immediate customer projects – until we have a fully developed product, you will also need to support delivery teams to successfully access data.

Requirements
  • 6+ years in product management, data engineering, or API productization roles.

  • Proven ability to read, analyze, and plan from API specs, and guide ingestion strategy.

  • Strong communicator, able to align executives, engineers, and clients around Raw Data roadmap.

  • Track record of improving developer experience — whether via CLI tools, documentation, or automation.

  • Hands-on experience with Git-based documentation, API authentication flows, and data ingestion pipelines.

  • Respect for data privacy and security when handling sensitive client data.
