- As a Technical Practice Manager, you will lead the delivery of customer-facing IT support and managed services across enterprise-grade infrastructure. This role combines team leadership, technical oversight, and strategic influence, ensuring high-quality service, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction. You will manage experienced engineering teams supporting firewalls, storage systems, virtual machines, and cloud platforms, while collaborating with product and vendor partners to design and deploy innovative services. Your expertise will directly impact the performance and reliability of IT systems, fostering long-term client relationships and enabling continuous improvement in a fast-paced, international environment.
- Accountabilities
- Lead and mentor Level 2+ engineering teams, promoting accountability, innovation, and technical excellence.
- Act as a senior escalation point for complex technical issues, ensuring swift and effective resolution.
- Oversee enterprise-grade IT systems including firewalls, storage, virtualization, and cloud infrastructure, ensuring reliability, security, and compliance.
- Collaborate with services product teams and technology vendors to design, develop, and roll out new service offerings.
- Maintain alignment with vendor programs, certifications, and performance standards to enhance technical capabilities.
- Monitor service delivery against SLAs and KPIs, implementing best practices, SOPs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide strategic input to shape service strategy and optimize customer experience.
- Proven management experience leading technical teams in IT services or enterprise infrastructure support.
- Strong technical background in enterprise IT systems: firewalls, storage, virtualization, and cloud platforms.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence across all levels.
- Experience in customer-focused service delivery, with a track record of resolving complex technical challenges.
- Strong analytical skills, proficiency with Power BI and Excel for reporting and data analysis.
- High attention to detail, strong time management, and prioritization capabilities.
- Preferred: industry knowledge of technology distribution, channel partners, vendor programs, or commercial/product experience in IT services.
