Your new companyHays are recruiting for a temporary people services administrator for a financial services business based in Manchester City Centre. This role is to support the HR team and will require a DBS and a satisfactory credit check before starting. Hybrid work available. Your new roleWe are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Administrator to support the HR/people team. This is working within a regulated environment. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes, maintaining compliance, and delivering a high-quality employee experience across the business. Key Responsibilities HR Operations & AdministrationMaintain and update employee records in the HR system.Prepare contracts, offer letters, and on-boarding documentation.Support the end-to-end employee life-cycle, including on-boarding and off-boarding.Administer benefits, pensions, pay changes and leave entitlements.Ensure compliance with employment legislation and internal policies. What you'll need to succeedPrevious experience in an HR/People administration role, ideally within financial services or asset management.Strong understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices.Excellent organisational and time management skills.High attention to detail and confidentiality.Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. What you'll get in returnThis role is paying up to £28,000, and is starting immediately until the end of 2025 with the possibility of extension.
