Job Summary: Specialist SEN TA

Randstad Education is urgently hiring a compassionate and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant for a fantastic school in Liverpool. This is a full-time, long-term position with an immediate start, perfect for a dedicated professional ready to make a significant impact.

What You'll Be Doing

• Individualised Support: Provide essential one-on-one and small group support to pupils with a range of special educational needs.
• Team Collaboration: Work alongside the class teacher to effectively implement individualised learning plans.
• Classroom Management: Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-organised classroom environment.
• Learning Facilitation: Assist with lesson preparation, classroom tasks, and track student progress.
• Serve as a key mentor, guiding students in achieving their academic and personal goals.

What You'll Need to Apply

• Experience: A minimum of six months of prior experience as an SEN Teaching Assistant in a UK school.
• Approach: A compassionate, patient, and energetic approach to supporting students with SEN.
• Skills: Strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.
• Compliance: A current Enhanced DBS check is required, or the willingness to apply for one immediately.
• Bonus: Experience with a variety of SEN needs is a plus.
