Randstad Education is searching for a dedicated and skilled Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school. This full-time, long-term role starts immediately and involves supporting students with complex learning needs, helping them to succeed both in their studies and personal growth.

About the Opportunity

In this rewarding position, you'll be working closely with pupils who have diverse special educational needs, including Autism, ADHD, PMLD, and SLD. Your daily tasks will include:

• Providing targeted 1:1 and small group support in the classroom.

• Keeping students engaged and focused during lessons.

• Modifying learning materials and communication methods to fit individual needs.

• Assisting with emotional regulation and behaviour management.

• Supporting personal care tasks when necessary.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will be a resilient and empathetic professional with:

• Essential previous experience supporting children with SEN.

• A confident and proactive approach to classroom support.

• A valid Enhanced DBS on the update service (or the willingness to apply for one).

• Full-time availability from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday.

• The right to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available).
