Duties: Working with small groups of students to help them catch up in core subjects.Helping the teacher set up the classroom and get equipment ready for lessons.Making sure students stay on task and follow the classroom rules.Helping out with playground or break time supervision.Assisting students with their reading and writing skills.Checking that students have the right books and equipment for the day.Helping to display student work on classroom walls and boards.Escorting students between classes or on local school trips.Handing out worksheets and collecting completed assignments.
