About the Role:

Randstad Education is proud to be working with an Ofsted-rated "Outstanding" secondary school in Upminster, seeking a dedicated and proactive Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience working with children to join a highly supportive and successful school environment. You will play a crucial role in helping students with additional needs access the curriculum and achieve their full potential. This is a long-term role with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-to-one or small group support to students with special educational needs.

• Assist the class teacher in preparing and adapting learning materials.

• Help to manage classroom behaviour and foster an inclusive, positive learning environment.

• Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals.

Requirements:

• Experience working with children is essential.

• Experience with SEN is a bonus but not a requirement.

• Must be able to start as soon as possible.

• Must be available to work full-time.

• An Enhanced DBS check will be required. We can support you with the application process.

Pay and Benefits:

• Pay Rate: £90 per day, increasing to £107 per day after 12 weeks as per the Agency Workers Regulations (AWR).

• Support: Full support with the Enhanced DBS application process.
