Location: Reigate, Redhill, Horley, East Grinstead and Lingfield

Salary: £85 - £95 per day, dependent on experience

The Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the classroom teacher and working directly with students. Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Providing one-on-one and small group support to pupils, helping them grasp key concepts in subjects like Maths, English, and Science.

• Assisting with the preparation of classroom materials and setting up learning activities to create an engaging and stimulating environment.

• Helping to manage classroom behaviour, promoting a positive and respectful atmosphere where all students feel safe and supported.

• Supporting students with special educational needs (SEN), following their individual education plans (IEPs) and providing tailored assistance to help them thrive.

• Building strong, positive relationships with students, staff, and parents to ensure a collaborative approach to education.

• Patient and empathetic, with a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of young people.

• A strong communicator, able to work effectively as part of a team and liaise with colleagues and parents.

• Resilient and positive, maintaining a can-do attitude even on challenging days.

• Experienced in a school or educational setting (desirable but not essential).
