Supply Teaching AssistantJob DescriptionJoin our team as a Supply Teaching Assistant and support the educational and social development of children in various classroom settings. This role is ideal for adaptable, resilient, and compassionate individuals who are passionate about helping students achieve their full potential.Day-to-Day Responsibilities:Assist in the preparation and delivery of daily lessons.Support individual students or small groups to help them understand the material and complete their tasks.Supervise students in class, between classes, during lunch and recess, and on field trips.Help manage classroom behavior and ensure a safe and respectful learning environment.Assist teachers with record keeping, such as tracking attendance and grading assignments.Prepare classroom materials and set up equipment for lessons.Provide feedback to teachers on student progress and behavior.Step in to lead the class temporarily if the teacher is unavailable.Required Skills & Qualifications:Level 2 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualification is preferred.Experience working with children in an educational setting.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances.Patience and resilience, with a positive influence on children.Enhanced DBS check (or willing to undergo this check).Benefits:Competitive salary.Flexible working hours.Opportunities for professional development.Supportive and inclusive team environment.
