Primary School Teaching Assistant Role

Location: Redhill, Reigate, Lingfield, Horley and Crawley

Salary: £85 - £95 per day

Contract: Full-time, Long-term/Permanent

Randstad Education is looking for a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join an inclusive primary school. This role is perfect for someone keen to support young learners and foster a love for education.

What you'll be doing:

You will be an essential part of the classroom team, assisting the teacher and directly supporting students. Key duties include:

• Providing one-on-one and small group support in core subjects (Maths, English, Science).

• Preparing classroom materials and setting up learning activities.

• Helping to manage student behaviour to maintain a positive learning environment.

• Assisting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) by following their Individual Education Plans (IEPs).

• Building strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.

Who we are looking for:

The ideal candidate is proactive, adaptable, patient, and empathetic. You must be a strong communicator with a resilient, positive attitude. Previous experience in a school setting is helpful, but not required.
