Your Contribution: Principal Duties
- Bespoke Educational Delivery: Design, prepare, and implement highly engaging, differentiated lessons that meticulously satisfy the individual targets set out within every student's Individual Education Plan (IEP).
- Data-Informed Practice: Execute rigorous formal and informal assessments, systematically analyse attainment data, and swiftly modify pedagogical techniques to guarantee continuous progress.
- Accessibility Expert: Identify, create, and adapt all instructional materials and classroom activities to ensure the entire school curriculum is fully accessible to all students.
- Collaborative Team Player: Partner seamlessly with Teaching Assistants, outside support services, and parents/carers to deploy a robust, multi-agency support framework.
- Structured Environment: Cultivate a positive, structured, and entirely inclusive learning setting that insists upon exemplary behaviour and celebrates every pupil's success and effort.
Essential Candidate Profile
- Required Certification: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is a non-negotiable prerequisite.
- Proven Track Record: Extensive, demonstrable experience educating students with a range of Special Educational Needs in a UK school context.
- Technical Knowledge: Comprehensive fluency in SEN codes of practice, a wide array of intervention strategies, and advanced differentiation techniques.
- Core Attributes: Must be inherently patient, adaptable, proactive, and resilient, possessing superior classroom management skills.
- Safeguarding Compliance: A current, satisfactory Enhanced DBS check is mandatory, or the willingness to apply immediately upon job acceptance.
- Highly Valued: Possession of a relevant SEN qualification or significant experience supporting pupils with the most profound learning difficulties is a distinct advantage.
