T&C Officer - Financial Planning (Remote, UK)Up to £60,000 | Remote role with UK-wide travel (office visits every 4-6 weeks)An established and growing independent financial planning firm is looking to appoint a T&C Officer to support and develop its Technical & Competency function. The business currently supports over 40 Financial Planners and is continuing to grow through further acquisitions planned for 2026.This is a remote position, with occasional travel to your local office (typically once every 4-6 weeks).The RoleYou will work closely with the existing T&C Manager, helping to build out and strengthen the firm’s T&C framework. The role will be adviser-facing and focused on maintaining high standards of advice quality across the business.Key responsibilities will include:Supporting new advisers and those working towards CASDelivering training and development support to advisers at different stages of their careersConducting file checks and quality reviews in line with regulatory and internal standardsCarrying out virtual observations, sitting in on adviser/client video meetings and providing feedbackSupporting advisers during acquisitions, including training on taking over existing client booksContributing to the ongoing development and improvement of T&C processesCandidate ProfileBackground within financial planning (compliance/T&C experience preferred)Strong technical knowledge and understanding of FCA-regulated adviceComfortable in an adviser-facing role, delivering feedback, training and guidanceAble to work remotely while managing workload independentlyOpen to learning and development in areas where further training may be requiredIdeally DipPFS/Level 4 qualifiedPackage & Benefits</
